Anyone using the 1g prothane mounts? I just got a whole set for putting in with my new built motor, anyone have any info on them, did you like them, did they suck...

Thanks, Josh :talon:

I have them, and they are a bit more buzzy at first, and if you lug the engine. Its a bonus that "feature" you will learn to be a better driver :)

they do what they are suppposed to to however, the engine does not flop around at all.

I have ALL the prothane mounts for the engine, body, and suspension, etc. They stiffen things up QUITE A BIT. But then again, all my cars that I have built have poly mounts because they are better. You'll be allright, just get ready for a little rattle fixing. :p

Which kit did you go with? RRE recommends not installing some of the bushings due to increased wear on the shocks, did you install those too?

I've got the Prothane motor mounts and Energy Suspension front and rear kit. My Eclipse isn't a daily driver, but it didn't take very long to get used to it. I love the setup.
