calling all t3/t4 guys

hey everyone,
im getting ready to put in my new engine and im thinking of a new turbo setup. i have a e316g now but im very intrested in the t3/t4 setups that you can purhcase with a new ex mani and have it externally gated. what do i need for this setup to run correct and pull strong? ive also seen alot of talk on the t04b turbos, are these oil and water cooled? or are the water lines just looped and not used?

Im running a precision 50 trim t3/t4 turbo with a mitsu exhaust flange for direct bolt on. For boost management a turbosmart dual stage boost controller. Internally gated as well. Running 2.5" exhaust for now wiht a HUGE precision FMIC and 650cc injectors. I did run for a short time the 50 trim @15psi on 550 injectors and the stock SMIC.

I would have to say that a front mount and 650's are the minimum along with all the other supporting mods.

Look into AGP turbo if you want a Garrett turbo, and tubular manifold. Their kit comes with everything you need to bolt the turbo up to your motor, including the o2 housing, less the continuing exhaust. You can have both oil and water, or oil only servicing your turbo, depending on what center cartridge your turbo has. Make sure you edumacate yourself a little more before you give those turbo vendors a call i.e., what are your goals for the car?

I personally like my FP3052 and it bolts to the stock manifold but the manifold will need porting.
