Standard 16g to a Super 20g

This is actually a problem that I have been pondering for a while and trying to choose the best and cost effective way. I am told that I have an older model super 16g, which came without the O2 housing and is supposed to eliminate boost creep, it is not.

I have a few different ways to go, the first being to take the turbo off port the turbine housing, the stock O2 housing and the stock manifold, which may take care of the boost creep but I also want more horsepower, which means I will have to do twice the work taking it off again.

The second is take a chance with the super 20g which comes with the O2 pipe and the adapter for the downpipe that I am using, and supposedly does not use an external waste gate which intrigues me work wise, I just want to make sure that it does not take away power.

The third taking the turbo which I was told is a Super 16g which I think is a standard 16g and turning it into a standard 20g which this includes all of the porting before plus the external wastegate.

The fourth is a red turbo which starts a whole new segment. Anyway what is some of the feedback on this issue.

The secret to the Super20G is the 10cm turbine hosing. I have one,(recently switched to L2R) It worked great for me. It uses a standard internal gate, but it will never creep. I ran as little as 8psi, with no creep. And I had the 15psi actuator up to 28psi. The drawback is that the 10cm housing uses a T3 flange, and single T3 outlet. I got the tubular O2 with the kit. It does not, however, bolt directly to the stock mannifold. I used the adapter plates that came with the kit. If I was going to do it over again, I would just purchase one of the many T3 mannifolds available.
