99 GSX Fuel Pump Re-Wire

I know how to do the re-wire as I hav read alot of the info that I could find, I also did a search. My question is this, my car, a 99 GSX, has 4 wires coming out of the fuel pump plug. Has anyone done this before that could tell me which wires are which? I don't have a multi meter, so I was wondering if someone who has done this could help me out. I want to do this this weekend. thanks!

Well that kinda helped me, I see that the GSX has a 4 wire plug now. However that did not tell me wich of the 4 wires going to the plug are power and which are ground. Anyone with a 2g gsx done this?

Did you have a two wire or four wire plug on your pump?

make sure you know what your doing before you go at this, i went at it half assed a while back and ####ed up my gas level gauge, you prolly dont wanna do that so make sure yoiu know what wire is what without a dout.

4 wire ... power, ground, and the 2 signal wires.

yeah the 99 is different, i remember when i did mine it also had 4 wires

i think the ground is black....u can usually tell which one is power

I took my time with this rewire, since you are totally redoing power to your pump, and you dont want shorts or power going out on your pump at WOT

I looked again, and there is a black and blue, a black, and two yellows....do you think Satan might have the pinout for the plug?

I'm sure they do but if they gave it to you I'd be suprised. A voltmeter will help you figure out what's what though...
