:thumb: Good stuff Larry and nice vids.

What do you use to get the vids and pice on here, what camereas n stuff? My friend is really into videos and he has a GL-1 or something...he said he can take vids/pics of my car and somehow hook it up to the computer threw an output on the video camera with a cable. If we did this do you know of what program/s I would need to be able to host the pics and vids and put them up on sites? Sorry for being long, thanks in advance,

Austin:dsm:

haha.. wish I could tell you but im still trying to figure out the whole videos thing myself.. Im just lucky enough that my digi cam takes quick little videos and saves them into .AVI format..

I have a canon s110 digital camera.. its waht I use for everything.. and I host my videos on www.dsmgarage.com

I don't have any pics of the turbo by itsef becasue I didn't have my digi-cam at the time. however you can look in my gallery to see some pics of it on the car.

Thanks, I wasn't lifting off the gas. The tranny shifted really good this spring for about 2 months. It's junk now! Time to give TRE a call I suppose.

Some of the bare metal parts look rusty. This occured after I hosed them down with brake cleaner to prep them for painting. I guess bare cast iron doesn't like exposure to the atmosphere. Manifold did the same thing. My picture of everything assembled with the internal gate is used on their site. :D

HMMM, Hey Sunflash. I see those pics were taken on Aug. 24th. Did you get theidea of coating the turbine housing, mannifold, and O2 housing from me:cool: Ben actually sent me an Email askinfg what I coated everything with. Im wondering if your one of the people I inspired. If so, SWEET!!

Yep. Sure did. It's started to flake off my manifold though. My prep work may be responsible for that. I just sprayed everything down with brake cleaner and called it good.

Well thats awesome! Im glad I inspired someone. Its flaking off? Like really badly? I have had it on my manni for almost 2 years with no flaking, and no re-coat. What brand did you use. I think mine was VHT silicone spray.

I think it's the same stuff you used. Silicone based from summit.
