Detonation on 100 octane.........??

I had my car dyno tuned on 100 octane. I wanted to shoot for 28psi, but they could only go 25psi safely. They said if i got a bad batch of 100octane, i might get detonation if i ran 28psi. My question is, i plan on putting on a magnus intake manifold and HKS 264/272 cams this winter. Will those two mods increse my chance of detonation since the intake will flow more air?? Or will those have nothing to do with detonation, unlike upping the boost does??

You could detonate at 20 psi on 100 octane, if the car was tuned badly.

No, if you have fuel management you can adjust for the increased air flow via dsmlink, safc, or whatever you have.

Don't you have Turbo Blue or simliar 110 where you live? Here it's $3.50/gal, good stuff. We also have local vendors with C16 too

Haha.....Dont have 110 here....just 100 and c-16. I am thinking of running a seperate fuel system with a fuel cell and just run Y fittings of them with valves, so i can switch between c-16 and 100octane. And if there was 110 octane here for $3.50........i would pay that all day long. Here....100 octane.............$3.99/gallon. I ran 378AWHP on 100 at 25psi.....i would definetly see my goal of 450AWHP if i had 110 octane for $3.50 /gallon. Haha....Thanks guys.
