OK i am going to explain the problem as best i can. I parked my car yesterday for about 4 hours. When i got back in to go home the problem started. Whenever i push on the gas it is like my car is stuttering to get up to speed. When i say stuttering it is like a split secongd hesitation every couple of seconds as i am pushing on the gas. There is no noice thaqt i can here inside of the car. It doesn't do it if i am not pushing on the gas.

Any ideas on what this is?

Don't jump the gun, more likely it is something simple.
Check your spark plug wires(escpecially MSD's). there is no kind of vent the air the spark cylinder expands pushing up on the spark plug boot
this seperates the wire from the plug, or if you are lucky

What you are describing is about exactly what happend to me, twice. It was my fuel pump going. But I believe it was caused by something else, injectors possibly. I am not a mechanic but when I was reading your thread it sounded alot like what happend to me, so check that out because it costs me and arm and a leg every time. Def somethin fuel system related though.

i have had the same problem in the past and i still havent figurred it out.
i changed my spark plug wires and that didnt help it either.
my next guess is getting a fuel pressure regulator.

any other ideas???????????????/

Check your spark plug wires(escpecially MSD's). there is no kind of vent for the air the spark cylinder it expands pushing up on the spark plug boot this seperates the wire from the plug, or if you are lucky it will seperate the wire internals.
ohm out the wire with a multimeter to test it
push down wires to see if disconnected from spark plug

Additionally, not only did my car stutter, it eventually stopped cranking back up when I turned it off after driving it for about 30 mins at speeds above 55mph. It just gets worse man but yea check your plug wires and plugs. I was told to do this too, but it was not the problem.
