I just installed my 16g evo and 255 walbro. I took it for a little test run and it had a little hesitation above 4000 at wot This went on all the way up to 7200 It was like fuel cut but not as severe ,just like a little stumble. I have fuel cut taken care of with a dsm stage 3 chip and Safc . I am running all the mods needed . I looked into my pocketlogger while running and everything looks good no knock and no big spikes on anything . I had a freind with me and he also said that it felt like lack of spark . I logged my voltage and it did drop down to 13.34 during my 3rd gear pull . I checked my duty cycle and it was max 75 percent on my 680s ,so no fuel cut there . I guess I will have to spend some money on a msd . Has anyone ever figured out how to run four coils and drivers with the Msd and stock computer ?

There goes titanium money  But what good would the buildup be without a hot ignition :thumb:

Oh yeah 91 octane :thumbdown

Did you log O2 volts? Check them for any downward spikes. If you see any, you're having misfires. Check the plug gap, make sure the plugs and wires are fresh. Running too rich will also cause misfires, a common trait among 91 octane users.

Just downward spikes at shifts during wot shifting ( throttle letup ) . Nothing out of the ordinary . Could be running to rich ,I did tune to remove some knock . Garbage gas :thumbdown I need a hotter spark :thumb: I would like to get the msd dis 4 so that when I finally upgrade to a standalone, which I see happening , I can run 4 coil packs and quit this Mickey Mouse game :talon:

15 psi and a fmic , cold air intake with a 16g evo, Getting knock( 6 count ,not bad enough to worry but shouldt be there) ,yet running rich . I deserve a medal

I am going to have to talk to the keydiver again and have him burn me another chip with teh right timing curve for 91 octane. Or just go standalone.

I had the same thing happen to me once. I replaced plug wires, plugs & fuel filter and it went away.

Iam hitting full boost at 3300 rpm give or take a hundred with 16g evo . I dont have any whistling from under the hood besides the turbo . I think I am going to go ahead and get a bigger intercooler and sell mine . I currently have a 7" bar and plate, short route . Iam afraid that it is just not doing the job anymore ,on 91 octane.

Whoow their... Don't go spending money that you don't need to. MSD ign and upgrading the IC are fine but those won't really do much for you. I'm sure your FMIC is doing a fine job with the E316G. And the stock ignition isn't the greatest thing since the O2 sensor but it does it job pretty well most the time. Check your plug gaps. If you are running like .32 gaps that is probably your problem. I don't know what most people run so do a search, but try going to like .26 plug gap and take her for antoher pull. Also running to RICH will cause knock, loss of power, and not so great fuel miliage. Jeff @ keydriver knows his stuff. Check your gap and regap and hey if it runs like a champ start working on your rich problem.

You said you have a Warlbro 255. Do you have an AFPR? If not that is the cause of the richness. If you have say a B&M Command Flo then jack the fuel press to what it is at at idle and retune to that. It will get you by while you save up for the AFPR if you don't already have one. Hope this helps ya... Good luck... Oh yeah and check for boost leaks since you just installed the turbo. It wouldn't be causing this problem but doing a Boost leack test is almost free and saves you money in the long run.
