My compression is at a horrible

1) 148
2) 150
3) 151
4) 146

(average of 5 tests per cylinder)

I believe that the service limit is 142 for my car :( This is the compression after 2 treatments of "Restore" oil additive and a can of MCCC. I just need to get rid of the thing and get a real car!

isnt the compression only supposed to be 160??

Yeah it is Larry but the service limit is 145 so technically it doesn't NEED to be rebuilt but it probably should be. I just need it to hold for about another six months.

I just checked the service specs and for my car compression is suppose to be at 192 strait from the factory...

This car is on it's last leg:(

Larry I have a 1g NA 4g63 it's compression is suppose to be 192PSI it's at an average of 148.75PSI that is a 43.25PSI difference in compression not 15.;)

For your 2g 4g63 engine compression standard is 178PSI and your service limit is 133PSI
