Last Week I bought this boost controller and finally got to install it and use it.
This thing is amazing. You can setup 4 different boost setting. It has your standard scramble boost, you can setup a limiter in case you overboost that has a alarm. You can set the dispaly to show a bar graph. Beneath that it shows you current boost level and your last peak boost level. You can also change the display to show a regular graph.
While in that screen you can change the boost level. You can set the boost level in tenths of a psi
. You can also record and replay 6 boost runs.
It has an auto mode where you just set the boost and forget it. In manual mode it takes a little longer to program but it is well worth the effort. You set different thresholds and it causes the turbo to spool faster. You don't really know the boost pressure you will hit right away so becareful in this mode.
Using the Blitz Powermeter-ID you can also setup RPM dependant Boost maps. I will have a review on the Powermeter-ID when I get in a couple weeks.
Overall I think this boost controller is well worth the 500.00 I spent on it.
