Advantages of O2 Eliminator???

I am thinking about purchasing the 3" O2 Elim. turbo-back exhaust system from rnrracing. I was just wondering what are the advantages/disadvantages of having the O2 Elim. opiton? Also I've read some reviews about rnrracing exhausts and still would like to hear others opinions about quality, sound, best bang for the buck, etc. Any information you can provide me with would be deeply appreciated, and thank you ahead of time.

I highly recommend an O2 Eliminator exhaust. It will outflow even the best port job O2 housings out there. It helps with boost creep, helps get heat out of the turbine housing better, and is just plain the best exhaust you can get, hands down. There are really no disadvantages at all.

Yep, and John knows WAY more about this stuff than I do. I'm glad we have guys like him and Aslan to go to for knowledge and advice-- makes the learning curve a little less steep.

Not really. One shoots exhaust gas from the turbine housing directly into the atmosphere, the other routes it back into the downpipe-- that's the difference. When you're at or near full boost, the dumped one is loud. Otherwise, there's no real difference in noise level from what people have told me.

I actually just was toolin' around with a guy with a 2g with a 16g dumped. we pulled over an talked for a while. They are quite loud when the wastegate opens!! They are supposedly a little better for the following: complete elimination of creep/spike, spool up and over all exhaust flow (power maybe...). Id get one if emissions and po po's werent an issue as I dont care about noise n' stuff.

What kinda noise does it make? I just got new o2 housing.. the tube with the internal WG/ external dump tube. Kinda curious what kind of loud noise its gonna make. You talkin loud and insanely annoying or kind of bad ass sounding?

I took one that was origionaly venting to atmosphere & I cut the wastegate pipe off & took a Stainless mandrel donut & cut me a piece to fit from the WG hole to the top of the exhaust pipe & welded it up.
O2 sensor fits perfect ! Before I put it on I had the stock 2G 02 housing on my 2.5 to 3 inch down pipe . It seemed as if there was some kind of "hump" in the rpm range I would have to reach before it would out right spool up. After I installed it I noticed that it spooled 120% better !
It works great ! It was the last bottle neck in my freeflowing exhaust system.
