ported o2 housing

Hey,

I was just wondering if I would be fine running a ported o2 housing (was ported to match an Evo III turbo) with a stock 14b turbo. I wouldn't install it until I get a 3" exhaust, but I just didn't know if that would be overkill until I got a bigger turbo.

The more flow the better, it won't hurt. We've run 12.0's on a 14b with porting and a 3" exhaust.

im having my 2g manifold an 2g o2 housing ported along w/ a full 3" exhaust on stock 14B turbo an i was told its all good more the better

There's no such thing as overkill when it comes to exhaust. The bigger the better.

[2.4 turbo Hyped]

I ditched the bolted on exhaust o2 housing and welded a 3 inch exhaust downpipe directly to the turbo. Granted this turbo will never be rebuilt but then again I never have to tighten my o2 housing bolts and I have no sign of boostcreep all the way to 28 psi. AHHHH Im so destructive.
