external wastgate ??????

is there any bad effect to routing your external wastgate back into your exhaust. right now it just dumps into the atmoshpere and id rather hear my turbo then my wastgate.

i have a 3inch 02 and a 3inch full exhaust.

From what I've seen and read the further down the exhaust path you route it back in the less turbulence you will create.

mine sounds like a$$ im going to route it back into the exhaust! makes it sound like a bad exhaust leak.

If you are running a smaller exhaust (2.5), you might want to consider dumping it externally. That will re-route a good 1.5inches of exhaust, effectively givin you a larger exhaust, so to speak.
