Hi

this is probably a really stupid question but i want to make sure before i buy all this crap.

This is the setup i'm planning on getting for my car

Injen full intake system, Blitz BOV, Dejon tools UICP, Dejon Tools MBC-1, Probably a autometer boost guage and A/F guage, Maybe a buschur racing fuel pump.

Does this sound alright. If anyone has had a bad experience with any of the parts please let me know

Thanks for your help

Also anyone goona be at the import carlisle on sunday?

Looks OK. The only thing I have eny worry about is the Blitz BOV. I have never had any experience with one on a car. I have a freind that has one and needs to get it on the car.

I have the blitz and I love that BOV. SOunds awesome, preforms well. Holds to 25psi just fine. The only issue you have is rerouting the air if you choose to but they do have a recirc kit out now. It is just hard to come by. Everything else looks really solid for a first step. Some of it is not needed at this stage, but still solid.

Just make sure you have a Boost gauge before you go turning up the boost, and as for an autometer a/f gauge... they suck the blinky light don't do jack, get a Jumptronix Digital Air/Fuel Ratio Meter from Road Race Engineering there a hell of a lot more accurate.

Get the EGT before the AF gauge. THE AF gauge is good for tuning but only to a point as a/f readings change depending on fuel, temps, humidity and the such. The egt is your safety factor and decides wheather you blow up or not.

Injen full intake system
Not worth the money unless you are wanting soem looks under the hood. Just grab a K&N if you want performance before looks.

Blitz BOV, Dejon tools UICP, Dejon Tools MBC-1
Never had any experiance with any of those. I went Greddy Type S, Buschur Racing Upper IC pipe, and Extreme MBC

boost guage and A/F guage
I have..... they suck! Actuallythe boost gauge is OK but the A/F i think I wasted my $$$. Make sure you get an EGT gauge first and then when you get a S-AFC (New Style) (If you get one) you don't have to worry about the A/F gauge but will need the EGT gauge to tune.

buschur racing fuel pump

http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ sells the Walbro In-tank Fuel Pumps for $115 + shipping while Bushur sells them for $175.

Thats where I am getting mine!

Hope some of this helps......

If you have some extra money I would grab a logger. I won't leave the driveway without mine. It's not really a must have at your stage of mods but it will be sooner or later. It's good practice for future tuning anyway, being able to understand all that valuable data and knowing what needs to be done with it.

Good Luck!

Yeah i heard alot about loggers, do you have a link to where i can buy\look at one? Also are they hard to use? I know a decent amount about cars, but i'm far from being a mechanic.

with the blitz BOV, does venting to the atmosphere affect your car that much?

thanks for the help :)

Pocketlogger - http://www.pocketlogger.com

I have the pocketlogger and it works great, the 2g logger doesn't get killer sample rates like the 1g but it still works good.

If you have even more money and want something real cool check this out - http://www.dsmlink.com

And there's always the good old TMO logger - http://www.tmo.com

TMO and dsmlink both require a laptop, the pocketlogger runs off a palm or handspring handheld computer.

Hope this helps.
