did some googling on it and it pops up everywhere from honda boards to VW threads, the consensus I got is that it came of an Isuzu Trooper in OEM trim but there are some VW sites that sell it as a turbo kit, cuz someone is selling it for a measley $125, aside from that is it better or crappier than the t25?

its funny what a little googling will do:

Air Flow Rate: 1.4 - 10.8m3/min // 49.4 - 381.4ft3/min
Max Pressure Ratio: 2.8
Maximum Speed: 180 x103rpm
Max Allowable Gas Temp: 9500C // 1742oF
Diesel Engine Application: 54-154Ps
Gasoline Engine Application: 73-208Ps

---------------------------------------------------
T25 (stock 2nd gen) 280-300 CFM~ 250hp Max @ 15 psi

so it looks like this turbo might be a slight better then a t25. but why #### around with this when you could get like a 14b for just as cheep or a t28?

this took all of 3 minuts to search for btw

well that's what this forum is for, yup its just kinda marginally better, so scrap the idea, well HK has 2nd hand 16g turbos for $300 :p

go to a junk yard and im sure you can find a 14b around chicago. or look around in the forums for 1g gen guys upgrading their turbos. my friend is upgrading his stock turbo of off his first gen i can ask if he will want to sell it to ya.

Aren't these the turbo's on the early probe turbo models?

If so then don't bother.
