question about safc2

Hey guys im in the process of ordering the fp3065 turbo and next I need to buy a tuning tool. Will the Safc2 be fine or would I need an engine management system. My goals are 500hp or 11s in the quarter mile. Also what is Haltech?

Some great times have been run with a maft and safc. But i believe the safc cant control anything over 680cc injectors. With those goals Id look into dsmlink, or emanage.

WRONG and afc will be fine

You should be fine if you get some way of LOGGING the car to pair up with TUNING the car.

$325 for the SAFC + $125 for the pocketlogger = get the DSMLink for $615 if you're serious about 500 hp. It'll save you tons of head ache plus you've got a 95 and hopefully *crosses fingures* an EPROM ECU.

well, you got a couple good things going for you. if you are in texas, and getting the turbo from fp, you need to talk to the the "gros max" at fp, one of the best tuners in the nation. i believe he is running a haltech on this car. lots of cars come from far away for him to tune.
