t-28 comp. housing question...

I currently have a sbr big t-28 and want to change the direction of the outlet. I sent sbr an email asking them if I can swap compressor housings and if so can they sell me one. I'm still waitng for a reply, but is this possible? Are comp. housings from the same turbo interchageable? Could I use one from a forced performace bt-28 if sbr does not? Do I have to use my own and have more down time? Lookig to do this:

I have the FPBig28 and I did not have the outlet spun 180 degrees. When I got my FMIC I had to have this done. I just looked in the phone book for someone that can do aluminum welding. I had to take the compressor housing off to have it cut and welded. The FPbig28 is in the T-25, they just upgrade the compressor. So if the SBR 28 is just a T-25 with upgraded internals, then you can swap them. Getting the compressor housing off is a pain though. It's good to have somone to help you. It cost me $50 to have the housing cut and welded. I thought about the extension from dejon tool but after looking at the housing I did not think there would be much for that clamp to hold on to once you cut it. I have talked to a guy at a track and he did it and has not had any problems so I guess it works. Hope that helps.

But to avoid some down time can I do this to a spare bt-28 housing and just swap them? SBR has not responded and it's been a week.
