garret compressor cover fit mitsu chra?

I searched and searched, does anybody know how to fit a garret compressor cover on a mitsu chra? specifically a td0-5h with a garret to4e 57 trim wheel. The pte turbo's seem to have garrett compressor covers but i'm not sure if they use mitsu center sections. theres also a td05-20g on dsmparts.com, that has a garrett compressor cover. I either need a mitsu 20g cover, or a garrett to4-e and the garrett seems much easier to come by. Is this possible???
 
I dont need an exhaust housing, I need a compressor housing. I just want to know how you can put a garrett compressor cover on a mitsu chra. I saw a 20g turbo on dsmparts.com, that claims to have a garrett compressor cover, and i didn't think that they'd fit. a t4 cover is much cheaper than a 20g cover...
 
The reason they do it on some turbos is to make it easier to fit on a 2g... they use a t3 cover.

Like I said, what exactly are you trying to do?

To make a t4 compressor cover work on a mitsubishi wheel you would need a wheel that is a similar size to the compressor cover, then you would have to pay somebody to recontour the compressor cover.

I really don't think it is cheaper either way... I have seen the td06 covers for sale at forcedperformance.net and they are similar in price.
 
Either slowboyracing.com or extremeturbo.com have made mitsu chra with garrett compressor wheels and housings. Get ahold of either one and they should be able to help you. You will need the housing to fit the wheel and then you will need an adaptor ring to to get it to fit.
 
PTE used a standard oil-cooled Garrett T3/T4 hybrid with a custom turbine housing of their own device. Ive been rebuilding turbos for awhile, and there is probably a way to do that , but in all honesty if you want a t3/t4...buy a DSM housing and t3/t4 (with proper turbine wheel) off of ebay. Simply take the turbine housing off of the t3/t4 and put the DSM housing on. You can be out the door for the nice price of about $520-$600.
 
He makes it sound like it is cheaper to get a mitsubishi compressor wheel.

If you go full t3/t4 it will be cheaper for the turbo. And after you add an exhuast housing it will still be cheaper than a 20g.
 
I have a Garrett-Mitsu hybrid turbo. It's a td06 center cartridge with a t04e Garrett cover with a 57 trim comp. wheel. But in order to fit the Garrett cover on the Mitsu chra I had to purchase the seal plate adapter from Forced Performance.
