ripped off on a turbo?

well a few months ago the t-25 on my 2g took a dump.. so from e-bay i bought a Big16G...
i sent it to the shop my car was at and they installed it (the 2ginstall kit along w/ the turbo).. after that i had to have teh engine replaced and now my dad wants to sue the shop they didnt know what they were doing.. long story short... i had to replace my 7bolt with another one because of my auto tranny. .. anyway.. now the car runs..

the gsx does respond better and it you feel the car kick a hella more then my old t-25..
but... i never been in a 14b car...and this turbo looks identical to a 14b turbo.. the closest race ive had was a 03 stiock civic si with some work done to it and i beat it buy a car and a half.. maybe its just me, but i think that a big16g shoudl beat it by alot more... but maybe im wrong i dont know.. i dont have many supporting mods (well i have them just not installed yet) ((Greedy UICP,HKS SSQV,Greedy profec B))

sooo anyway... how will i be able to tell if this is a Big16G or a very clean 14b?
TDH05 is on it.. but i think 14b's have it too...

for one, there are plenty of sites that show the blades of a 16g and a 14b. Why don't you go look at yours and then compare that to the pics?
This has also been brought up on here before from someone that bought a 14b off of ebay and he thought it was a 16g.
Do a little searching.
If all else fails, take a pic of it and put it on here(like others have done)(search).

Yes a 16g has a lot of potential but as you said, you don't have your supporting mods installed yet. That means you haven't tuned it either.
You just answered your owne question.
