My old turbo, stock 14b, is shot and I need a replacement, its on my '90 Plymouth Laser RS. I figure this would be a good time to upgrade to the turbo that I want for my car, which is a fp3052. Currently I hardly have any mods on my car, K&N intake and replaced all the rubber hose with SS piping, when I install my turbo Im plannin on putting on a external wastegate, boost controller, a new BOV and possibly a new 3" exhaust from the turbo back. Shortly after Im looking at a new high pressure fuel pump and bigger injectors. My question is, is there anyway I can trash the turbo from not running it high enough? not enough PSI or something like that? Can it be underpowered? (probably a better way of explaining that, but I can't think of it)

Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I know what killed my last turbo, so theres no worry of the same thing happening.

You're in luck. Under-using a turbo will not destroy it. :)

Just make absolutely sure it's properly oiled and cooled.
