I installed my Apexi SAFC today and it lights up normal, the rpm meter is working, it seems to be working fine except the air flow meter gauge on the SAFC is not working, it is not reading anything, and my check engine light came on right when I started it up, and my dash boost gauge is not working now either.

I ran the pink and orange wires from the safc to the green/blue mass wire, and cut the mass wire in half and ran the pink to one wire and the orange to the other.

Any ideas here??????

Cra is a 90 1g awd

turn key to get power to afc, but dont turn on car... go to "etc" menu

1. Sensor Type
Choose number 4, "Karman" This being set incorrectly is the number one cause of trouble with AFCs not working properly on initial set up. You have a Karman type air flow meter, you need to select Karman.

2. Car Select
Cyl. "4" Thr. Arrow points Up

3. GRPH Scale
Cr: move the Correction viewing limit up to 30 % (maximum)

4. Sensor Check
Allows you to trouble shoot problems with wiring. You should see the top and bottom values changing as you free rev the motor. Also can be used to read O2 sensor voltage (see below).

5. VFD Bright
Lets you set the display brightness, the factory settings are fine

6. Initialize
Choose "No" It really should be called Reset. It will take all the
Set Up settings back to the factory settings.

Thanks A lot Cold and Afraid, :thumb: I did what you said and it works now, and yes I was throwing a code. The only question I have now is, it still shows no airflow on the screen no mater what I do. Is that normal, I am getting all the other readings.
