Turbo rebuild.....$$????

I have upgraded my turbo, and my old one is shot; however, I am wondering how much is would cost to have it rebuilt, so I can possible resell it? Of course, if it costs too much, then it's not even worth my trouble. Also, where can I get this done? I live in Illinois, about 1/2 hour away from AMS, and I am pretty sure they could do it, but not positive. Any feedback would be great.

Depends on the condition of your turbo. If you need new wheels thats going to be extra. So it really depends on how shot your turbo is. My 16g was going to cost about $450 to rebuild from Forced Performance but my wheels were completely gone.

I'd send it to Forced Performance. They can do everything in house. AMS will have to send it out to get balanced. FP charges $350 + parts.

Yeah.... like I said; if it costs too much, it's not even worth it. We're talking about the t25 stocker. I just wanted to know, ballpark, how much, so maybe I could resell it, but if it's that much, I don't even think it's worth it. Thanks for the feedback guys!!

It's not worth it. Sell it as-is for $45 or so.
