Sigh... I'll never buy another DSM. I've had so much trouble with this one in the 4 weeks I've had it. From burning 3 sets of spark plugs. Blown seal on my oil filter. Oil Cooler line blowing. Blown head gasket. And now after i was riding the car around last night to get the infared dye (in the oil) flowing so we could see if there was any more leaks. Cruise control on at 45 mph, all of a sudden I hear a loud CLANK followed by clunk clunk clunk clunk. Drain the transmission fluid, metal bits. Dropping my transmission next week, sounds like some teeth on the differential side broke off.

sigh...

Weren’t you the person that bought someone’s semi show car? It looks like you got taken big time. Didn’t you have a mechanic or someone knowledgeable inspect the car before you bought it? None of these things (headgasket, transmission) decide to up and die one day. There would be tell tale signs that could be revealed on a closer inspection. Don’t hate the car hate the person that sold you it.

Yeah, before you buy any car, MAKE sure you INSPECT it THOROUGHLY! Man, it really does suck dude that the car is taking a #@%#@%#@%#@% on you now.

the new engine and transmission were put in 2 weeks before i bought, from the reciepts, the car ran great the first 2 weeks then stuff went downhill from there

the title shows that he bought the car at 84,000 and i bought it at 85,200

Who did the service is there work reputable etc. I can slap together an engine and tranny and put it in a car to sell it to you. It might get you far enough away that you cant walk back and kick my ass. Some people are shady in this world. I really hope for your sake that this is not the case. But there is no way that a head gasket would blow on a “well running” car same thing for the transmission its not the car’s faults it’s the builder’s
