Balance shaft BS?

So I've searched and found that slowboy sells a balance shaft elim. kit. What's the point? I have read that some DSMers just leave the belt off with no problems is that true?

But you know there are 2 balance shafts.

I removed mine. My brother's car just had the belt removed. Both runs fine though

With the balance shaft removed you decrease rotation mass which = more hp. It also eliminates more parts that have to be lubricated my the engine oil. Without the balance shaft, the rest of the engine components get better lubrication which is always good.

My question is wondering whether or not installation of the kit is neccesary? How much oil pressure would you lose without installing those replacement bearings or sealing up the stock ones?
