Hey guys. I have a question for you. I will not go all in-depth into my setup plans, but my end hopes are for about 550-600 WHP. I plan to of course do all the necessary supporting mods, and this is not an immediate thing I plan on purchaing. It will take me a number of months. I was initially planning on getting the FP3065 turbo in order to help with this goal. I then recently heard of the GT35R and did some research on it. It seems that this would be a better option then the FP3065 for my goals. While on the turbo alone, the GT35R is more expensive, if you consider the other things directly associated in order to run each turbo, the price is about the same. (I mean down pipes, manifolds, that kinda stuff when I say directly associated.) Also the FP3065 is rated as effective up to about 600WHP, while the GT35R is at about 700WHP.

I just wanted to get your guys opinions on my research and see what you think the best path to go. Also let me say I am not worried about a few extra hundred dollars on anything like that if the gain will be sufficient. I believe the GT35R is the better option, but I wanted to get other opinions. Thanks a lot.

Right on.

If you plan on making that much power, then you should be able to answer this question yourself. It's really not that difficult.

The GT35R is a great turbo.

The GT series turbos are technologically advanced compared to the old Garret turbos. Bigger islands, and more efficient compressor maps. The main thing I noticed with my old GT28r on my last car, was that it spooled MUCH faster than a normal 28 and it pulled a lot harder in the upper revs. You won't be disappointed with that purchase what so ever. I have talked with a few guys on here running GT30Rs and they love them. I myself will most likely be purchasing the GT30r-12 because I am looking to get around 450 wheel. Good luck! :thumb:
