Apex N1 Catback Exhaust with downpipe Question

I am about to order the buschur 2.5 inch downpipe. I have the Apex N1 exhuast. I also have a 2.5 inch test pipe that hasnt been put on yet. My question is: The Apex has that adaptor thing, will that be a problem with bolting up the test pipe and downpipe since there is that little space where the adaptor was? I wouldnt want to keep that on since I would think it would be very restrictive since its the same size as the stock pipe.

If I can make a suggestion. Look into getting the RRE downpipe(either their cat elim. one or the one where you can also buy the 3in highflow cat or test pipe). Their downpipes are made to bolt directly to the N1. Their's starts out at 2.5 and expands to 3in at the flex. I've heard that Burschur's is made to fit their exhaust so there may be fitment issues(I cannot verify this though). Just a thought. Either way, both systems appear to be great downpipes.

So the RRE downpipe bolts right up to the apex N1 exhaust....hmm, i might have to do that and sell the test pipe

just buy the apex N1 down pipe, its the cheapest and it starts at 2.5 at the neck and goes to 3 inch after the bend, and of course it bolts up to the N1 exhaust. I have the apex down pipe and it works great. hope it helped ......

yeah the 2 do work well togeter (N1 downpipe and exhaust) but the downpipe is a 2.5" to 3".. thats the only downfall..
