ok this is what im doing i just want to ask a few qustions. im rebuilding my 92 gsx. it has 94,000 miles and im looking to make some power this summer goal is 400 whp to the wheels if i get there well have to see. planing on t3/t4 running 20-26 psi no nitours.
ok i want to go with.
2g pistons (shouls i go .20 over and were can u buy these for the best price.)
1g rods (can i reuse mine or would it be beter to buy new if so were to buy.)
1g crank (remove blance shaft or not also can i reuse or buy new if so were)
hks springs and retainers
new lifters ( were to buy)
new vaules 1mm over porting the hole head
new head studs
cams (reusing the ones i ahve if that is cool i want to add hks cams later.)
hks cam gears
new oil pump
(were to get rubuild kit as in all seals and stuff i need)
(what to do for a head gauset)
this is my first time doing an rebulid but my friend is helping me but he is not a dsm man so if im missing any thing or there is any thing i should know plz let me know

You can have your stock rod's shot-peened at a machine shop, and that takes care of the integrity of your used rod's, and strengthen them.


MACH V sells the engine rebuild kit, which has every bottom end seal.

Get your crank balanced and micro polished, if you plan on using the stock one again if you want too. :talon:
