Got the ar back Wednesday, from Extreme.(Read Other Post) The car did not see so much as 1psi, until last night. I was hanging out in Doylestown, or Dublin, and someone asked to get a ride. So with 100 miles on the clutch, per Sean's instructions, I humored this kid. Got on it, but shited easy. Felt awsome, at about 17-18psi. Once again, not really getting on it. The kid was more than impressed. So onthe way home, I turn itup to 20PSI. WOW! What a difference. I can already tel, this turbo does not even start to come alive until at least 20PSI. Got on the PA turn Pike, and let it rip in 3rd gear. I ran up to about 100mph, ant 7500rpm, quicker than I could think. But I didnt press it after that. All I can say is the car is ANGRY!

sounds sweet! Lots of people are falling in love w/ the AGP stuff. Sounds like they've got another happy customer!

Be careful on the new clutch. Hard pulls in 3rd/4th/5th are just as hard on a clutch as a high RPM launch. If you break it in right you can expect many miles of fun. I have ~50Kmi on my 2600. Not bad in a GVR4 that has seen more than it's fair share of AWD launches. I'm sure Sean told you what you can/can't do.

Yes soon I will feel the full power of the L2R after my boost leak is fixed. Glad the cars done for ya. We all should pray to the god of no CW for ya.

13.4 @ 109.98 with a 2.408 60ft

20lbs of boost
93 octane
17" wheels/street tires
full gas tank
full weight car + system (figure 3150 for weight of FWD car with mods)
completely untuned (rich as hell)

first night at track in over 5 months.. not to shabby.. btw no the car isnt back to full condition yet for all those gonna ask..im on vaca right now and when I get back the car should be running 100%

Nice times Larry. Turn boost up even more and get a 2.2x 60ft and you got your 12's :) I still having issues with my Boost Creep so I can't run my car at the track just yet. Oh well, great things come to those who wait I hope heh.

well im going to keep the boost the same but get it tuned.. my air/fuel is WAY WAY rich like I was shooting fireballs out the exhaust.. and my timing isnt up to where it should be so once the car is tuned which it should be when i get home it will be running 12s.. im hoping with some C16, some practice and alot of tuning i get her into the low-mid 12s

I appreciate it Larry. I may hit you up on AOL, or hit me up, and I would like to discuss my setup with ya.

"Got on it, but shited easy. "

Must have been fast to #@%#@%#@%#@% your pants right then and there :). Bet your freind was not too impressed though.

Little more info: Just got back from a quick drive. I registered 2126Hz at 7500rpm. At 20psi. That was in third gear. I garrentee, taht at about 25psi in 4th gear the # goes up to at least 2500-2600Hz. The car feels incredible.

ive seen some great #s from small 16gs.. but did u do that your first night out with the car in over 3 months and without any tuning at all?? I doubt that.. Regardless Im not arguing here.. Im not settling with a 13.4.. hardly.. I want to get her into the 12.5 range and possibly lower

Actually no, it was the first time out after 7 months, not 3.
I'm not arguing, but you asked. I'm not trying to start sh*t.

Something that does bother me though is you state the A/F was 6:1. Cars wont run 109 at 6:1, hell they won't "run" at all. I think you may be using a dsmlink and getting that info from there. While it may have said 6:1, you weren't at 6:1. You can't use data collected from a stock switching O2. They are only close to acurate when around 14.7:1.

Just FYI, don't trust that O2 A/F for tuning anything. Tune using all the tools you do have available...knock, EGT, and O2 voltage. Unless you have a 5 or 7 wire wideband quoting exact A/F's is a shot in the dark.

Just trying to le nd a hand from someone with experience in tuning with just about every management combo available.

thanks for the advice and yes your correct in assuming i used the air/fuel reading from the dsmlink.. regardless i am still rich.. I know that..

0 knock
1 volt reading from the launch to the end of the 1/4 on the o2 sensor

I go agree with you that Im sure the car isnt running at 6.5:1 but it is rich as sin, richer then ive ever had the car before.. btw awesome time for not having the car in so long.. im envious :)

You may not be trying to start "sh*t" but the only time you have commented in the last two months is where AGP is concerned and you have the oportunity to throw in a comment that makes them look less desirable.

Everyone knows FP makes good products. Now just get your sh*t together and make FP30xx's available to the public. Until then, AGP is offering a product that you don't, and some of us grew tired of waiting.

For those that are unaware, as per Killywicky's profile, he is a Forced Performance employee.

Actually, it looks to me like Larry asked for numbers after not racing for a while and having the car untuned. he just so happened to have times to show just what Larry asked. He didn't say FP was better than AGP, nor did do any bashing. In fact, on top of giving his numbers, he offered some extra tuning advice and info that he thought would help.

So tell me.... what is wrong with that?
