do u need the turbo timer harness for your car?

I hardwired mine along with 2 WRX's. It's pretty simple & easy.

I have hardwired a SRT4, and I used a harness on my GSX. The harness was $10 so I bought it because pluging in things is simple. The SRT4 had no harness so we just did it the harder way but it wasn't bad at all. As long as you know what lines to splice, there will be no problem. It is not a difficult job by any means. Just get some good wire connector/splicer things from autozone and you should have no problem. If you can get hold of a harness for $10 I would do it just because that would ensure that you had good connections and you would save time trying to splice wires and crap like that.

If it's your first time installing or messing with electronics like this, I'd go ahead and get a harness. I've been doing wiring for years now, and it came pretty easy to me. Others may find it more difficult, though. Hell, for 10 bucks, you might as well.

Me and a friend of mine installed an hks turbo timer and he had ordered the harness and come to find out it didn't even work. We were not to familiar with wiring but we got it figured out in about and hour and a half or so. But hey its only $10 for a harness so hell why not give it a shot!!

Its not hadr to wire at all but just get the harness. It takes all of a minute to get it installed then you just have to plug the TT in to that. Done. So nice and easy.

Yeah I just bought a greddy tt and im going to handwire it, what wires do splice into I would like to know....and oh the harness for 10bucks where is that at I can only find them for $25.00 plus i dont like to wait for it to be shipped so i might as well do it myself

You can pick up a harness here for $9.54 plus a couple dollars for shipping. I just ordered one for a 2G from there earlier this week and it shipped out yesterday. Yeah, it's really not difficult to hardwire it, but for $10 and some change why not opt for ease of install with a harness. :)
