this was a boost level post, but my probs are worse, I'm 95% sure its crankwalked hooray. Has anyone ever seen the crank pulley spin like an unbalanced wheel (kind of like when you start to spin a basketball on your finger and as it slows it start to wobble spin).. I was just under my car checking on a small oil leak and its coming from the plastic cover which is right next to the crank pulley which the pulley grinded away(I wondered what that noise was yesterday).I was looking at it and was like I remember that thing being alot closer to tha frame than that so I pryed it with a screwdriver and saw it move.I was not happy so I start the car and look under there and its spinning but its wobbling very badly at least 1/4-1/3 of an inch. I am assuming this is crankwalk. any info would be oh so helpful..Corey ps- I guess I am not going anywhere tomorrow and its back to the 89 pontiac sunbird yipppeee.

I will also add that all my belts came off my car the other day while driving.I thought a rock or somthing got in there but now I am assuming its because the crank pulley is wobbling so badly.I have been reading up on this and am kinda thinking it might not be crankwalk, but have not let it go as a possibility. Is there a way for the pulley to go bad or somthing that will cause it to do this:confused: I am in the dark on this one and have no idea what to do. Later corey

some more info, I just looked at it again and I turned the pulley with a socket and can see it rub the plastic cover next to it then get farther away so i stopped it when it was not rubbing that plastic piece and smacked the pulley with my hand and it smacked right into the plastic cover, so I dunno I am lost..corey

Car is fine, I fixed it...A moderator can delete this post since its in the wrong spot and has no useful info just my pointless whining..when all I needed was a crank pulley, I just wasnt looking in the right spot for info..
Peace Corey....
