b16g creep problem?

ok with my ported big 16g turbo and a 34mm flapper (with all supporting mods), i am getting boost creep really bad. i thought that it was my boost controller acting up, but its not the case. I bypassed it and the turbo spooled to 9psi, but then as i got higher in the rpm range, it would shoot to 19-20 lbs and i get fuel cut (its really cold out now).

now heres my question. my turbo is ported, my o2 housing is ported, I have a open 3" exhaust, but my 1g exh manifold is not ported. is this the reason that i am getting creep? i do have a boost leak in the tb gasket, could this possibly be the problem?

let me know as i am sick of driving untuned

also, with my fuel mods and my maft is it normal for me to get fuel cut at 20psi?
 
Your O2 housing probably isn't ported enough. The wastegate tube needs to be ported.
 
if u dont have a dp and r lookin to get one, might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone. What i mean is u can get a 3" mandrel bent o2 eliminator dp. I have 1 question does anythin plug into the o2 sensor such as a MAS? or is hte MAS only on the intake? Thanks
 
Put your cat back on or get an exteranl wastegate, I opted for the former until I can afford the latter. Open the exhaust up until you're blue in the face, you aren't going to get rid of creep until you either do some major head work or gate it.

my o2 is ported plenty, and the tube is also ported enough. its got to be either a pinched line somewhere or else maybe my wg actuator is shot. The guy that had the turbo before me had no creep with the same setup as I have. ported o2, full open 3" exhaust. I did figure out the fuel cut however, one of the settings on the maft was incorect.

anyone know of where i can specificly check for pinched vac lines?

You may not be able to see pinched vac lines when the car is at idle or off. I had the same problem after my recent turbo install-- when I reinstalled the MBC, I used some cheap eBay silicone vacuum hose and boost went through the roof because it was collapsing in on itself, I assume. Replaced it with some thicker wall hose and things went back to normal.
 
i did not mean to spread hear say or bad info, if i did then i am sorry, i was suggesting that a o2 eliminator dp (3") is supposedly more effective than a stock ported 2g o2. My question was will a check engine cel come on because of the o2 dp eliminator?
 
turn up the boost. if i shut off my boost controller (let the wastegate regulate boost) i hit 10 psi then it shoots up to like 23 psi. mad creep! but its not an issue because i always have my boost controller on. 16 psi for dailr drives and 21-22 psi for racing. maybe 1 pound of boost creep, if that. try it but ease into boost and see what happens. again i get none, maybe 1 or 2 psi tops of creep. try it
