I was test fitting my FMIC prior to the actual install. I found a couple problems i might have and would like to know what you guys with FMIC's did on yours.
First problem i encountered was the LICP. I see there is not much room down there between the radiator and my external dump tube. I can fit the pipe down there, but it's tight. The turbo outlet is 2 inches in diameter and my pipes are 2.5"
Did you guys use a 2-2.5" silicone connector on this, or just a 2.5"? I can't seem to get my 2.5" to work on it, is there a trick to it or something if that is what i'm supposed to use?
Next thing was that I was going to run a GM MAF in my UICP, but i see now that the damn ABS proportion valve is in my way. It seems to be in the way anyways. Does anyone have a Blowthrough set up with ABS still on their car? if so can u link to, or post a pic of your engine bay so i can check it out. I currently have 2.5-3" camel hump connectors and they seem like there no way in hell they are going to work. It might be tight with just regular 2.5-3" connectors, but would like to know for sure, prior to ordering them.
Thanks in advance.
