i just installed my hks ss bov on along with my dejon tool upper ic pipes (with hks ss flange).

the problem i'm having is that when i accelerate it wont let me go any higher than 4000rpm..

i knw i installed everything right and i checked to make sure if everything was connected properly and there were no leaks..

the bov sounds like its leaking as i accelerate.. however when i let off it still makes the sound that the hks ss bov is known for..

the car is running fine other than that the bov seems like its leaking thus not letting me go past 4k..

ive come to a conclusion that the bov itself mite be at fault.. im thinking of opening up and seeing if everything is ok.. is that thing inside the bov that says "SEQUENTIAL BLOW OFF" suppose to be able to spin or is it stationary..

thanks in advance..

try tightening the bolt on the back of the bov until it doesn't leak but still will blow off around 2 or so psi.
