I have a dave brode 1g larger throttle body elbow. after getting 3 bolts on (took an hour) I can't finish the 4th. It's impossible to tighten, being in a location where a socket or wrench will not fit. Please help me its #@%#@%#@%#@%ing pissing me off!!!

You people who have done this install must know what i'm talking about!!

-You need to use allen bolts, same for the turbo out let pipe, if you decide to use a bigger down the road.

-You problably need an open end wrench to slowly remove that bolt.
-If you get this part from a vendor, you should go back to yell at them for didn't warn you on the bolt clearance.

hmm... allen bolts? good call. i am having the exact same problem with my IRC t-body elbow. it is IMPOSSIBLE to tighten that last bolt

Argh, i looked all over today but there's no place that carries allen bolts of this size. I ended up buying a big phillips screw of the same dimensions, and screwing it in as much as I could (still not all the way in). I had to remove the battery to do this. So now the elbow is connected by 3 bolts, and 1 screw halfway in. Good enough for me. There doesn't appear to be any leaking so until someone can come up with a good solution for the 4th bolt then I'm just keeping mine the way it is.

-I got mine from a machine shop supplier, place like Enco , since I didn't know what size of thread it was, I gave them a bolt and they match them for me, at there show room of course.
