i have a 91 talon. my qustion is what are the mane vac lines needed. and what ones can get puged off or taken out.

i plugged all of mine and removed the charcoal canister from the car.

except now you have to let the gas tank breath, you can either not tighten your gas cap all the way. or the line that goes into the charcoal canister you can vent under the car.

otherwise just remove all the lines that dont go directly to the charcoal can.

there is a diagram under your hood where each line goes.

the charcoal canister is that under the bat. how dose your car run with no vac lines. you have not 1 line hooked up

i have ZERO vacuum lines. i removed all lines, the EGR valve, and the charcoal canister under the battery.

i did not notice any difference in reliability or idle when i removed them. nor did i notice any power either.

i removed them to clear up room under the hood, and to keep my intake manifold from getting that nasty tar-like deposits from my EGR

now my cars idles and runs like sh!t (at low rpm) at high rpm every things fine. well it dosent idle at all for some reason. please help
thanx

sounds like you may have a leak somewhere.

spray some carb cleaner or starter fluid around all the caps, gaskets, and where parts come together (all the stuff you caped or took off)...... if there is a leak you will get a sudden rise in RPM when you spray the fluid.

have you tried adjusting the screw on the throttle body?

just for clarification, you will need to keep the vacuum lines for the fpr, bov, and if you are using a mbc.

i have vack to the fpr,the midle of the intake, and the turbo vacks.
i got the car to idle now. i cant get the idle to go blow 1,000 rpm.
when my car is at ilde it kinda sounds like a boat. why?
thanx
