2g mas on a 1g

The company that reprograms eproms, dsmchips i think it is, can reprogram your ecu to use either a 2g mas or a hacked 1g or 2g. so i was thinking about hitting a few junkyared to try and find a 2g mas and i was wondering if there is a diference between the 2g turbo and non-turbo mas.

also does any one know how much better the 2g flows than the 1g?

i believe the only 2g n/a that had a mas was 97-99 eclipse spyders.

as far as it being the same, it sure looks to be the exact same. but thats all i can say about it.

what does it look the same as? i was asking if if the 2g 2.0L and the 2g 2.0Lturbo had the same mas airflow sensor
i thought just about every car with EFI has a mas air flow sensor.

i ask because i am thinking about using a 2g mas on my 1g so there will be less restriction in the intake, and i have heard that the 2gs flow better than the 1g.

The 2G N/A engines are actually chrysler engines and the MAS are different.

No, the NA 2g's have the 420a motor (aka Neon motor).

To make it work you need a 2g TURBO MAS, the N/A MAS will not work with your application. Yes, the dsmchips.com reprogramming can be made to run a 2g MAS in a 1g.

i dont see why the 2.4 n/a mas wont work. i believe it's performing the same function, and reads in hz the same as the 2gt one.

*shrugs* im really tempted to now get my friends spyder n/a one and put it on my tsi.
