Boost guage sits on -2 when parked, does that mean it is off?

When i shut my car off the boost guage reads -2, so does that mean that the needle was pushed on wrong or somethin and when it says im running 13.5psi I am actually running 14.5psi? The Vaccuum reads in intervals of 2 (each line is 2), and the boost read in 1 line = 1psi, that is why I say that my boost may be 1 psi too high, not 2 psi too high.

Any Thoughts?

Some gauges do that, from what I've read. I know mine sits at about -1 when the car's off. I'm pretty sure it's nothing to worry about.

I hope not because when I get more heavily modded, 1 psi higher than i want to be could be dangerous. But I guess by then I will have an EGT, Jumptronic A/F meter, etc to monitor the engine somewhat.

Mine sits on about -2 also... its because the 0 is at an angle so the needle (as small as it may be) still wants to go directly down...because of gravity... its not a problem... most gauges i have seen do that...

-What kind of gauge(s) you guys have, my GReddy gauges always rest at the off area like the rest of the guages(OEM) in the car.

my autometer gauge does that. from what i heard, it's a pretty common thing.

Mine's an Isspro gauge. Besides it resting at -1 when off, it's a great gauge.

is this a problem that starts after the gauge gains age? I mean I just got the Autometer and it sits right at 0 when the car is off? Should I expect it to start doing this later, as time passes?....
