electronic boost controllers.....

Some are hareder to program than others*cough* AVC-R*cough* but the normally control boost spike better than an MBC. I have a MBC and will be switching to an EBC for control from the cockpit.

I love my AVCR, but I also have a MBC on my other car. It spikes to 16PSI then settles down to 14#'s. My AVCR controls 30#'s, and its rock solid. I programmed it, took me about 1 month to get it dialed in perfectly, meaning no surge, no spikes, and no spinning all four up to third anymore. Great EBC if you ask me.

Get a Profec B or an HKS EVC EZ.

It hold boost to 30+lb fine.

I've ran over 1000HP on an HKS EVC EZ fine with no spike at all. But I had a huge wastegate on my car.
