Thanks Jeff. looks like were going to have to take out the ac fan, and Jason is being a puss. So plans are to go tubular now.

Yes that last car is Mike's. He has a very clean install and the car looks and performs great.

Fred, are you guys talking tubular 02 housing or tubular manifold?

i know in my 2g I had to remove the AC fan as well.. the tial 40 just is to big over there

Thts called High temp silicone coating. It has looke dlike that for the past year without a recoat. Some people call it spray paint. Well its lasted a year, and it only cost me $14 for the can.

how did u get it to look like that in the 1st place though, did u have a brand new one or did u have to sand it down first or something?

No, the manifold is original, from 96. I took it off, completely ported it(BIGGER THAN YOU COUL EVER IMAGINE) Honestly, I spent 3 days porting that thing. I then cleaned, very thorouly, in our soilvent tank. I then washed it in clean water, and used shop air to dry it. I then proceded to coat it , and put it back on the car.
