This has been going on for the past few weeks but it's been getting worse as it gets colder. It used to pop out of gear when I would go WOT and let off the gas quickly. Today, however, it's been cold and when I left work, it was shifting pretty jerky and popped into neutral again.

When it does it, I can put it down in 2nd and then back into drive and it will catch. The fluid level is fine because I just drained and refilled it but I didn't get the chance to install the filter because it was on Thanksgiving that I did all this and I didn't have time. I don't know if the tranny or the converter is messed up or if I just need to adjust the control lever but I don't see why it would be the control lever because it goes into every gear fine. Any ideas?

well, to contribute to my own thread, i'm thinking it's the end clutch. i did some searching and i guess sometimes with bad seals, the colder it gets, the less the seals expand causing fluid to bypass them. either that or the discs are bad. can't fix that til next month.
