Today on the way home my car decided to not shift into overdrive. I had my trans rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago and usually when the car is first started the vehicle will not go into overdrive until it hits 45 mph or warms up which ever is first but tonight even when i got it up to 50 it would not shift into OD. I stopped the car and turned it off and on and it immediately went into OD after i restarted it and got up to speed.
We had some problems with the mechanic that did my tranny overhaul and we no longer go to him so im hoping its not a mechanical issue.
Is it possible that my OD button was just stuck on the inside? Is there anything else that could cause this to happen?
I am moving from michigan to oregon in a little over a month and I am driving my talon out there so im desperately hoping that my tranny is not on its way out.
