where to buy a brand new or rebuilt tcu for my 93 eagle talon front wheel drive car....

is there any other way to reset a tcu besides disconnecting the battery thanks
 
Hey DSMers I'm so confused,

Let's keep it short - first my tranny started going wrong with the 2-3 flare, so I decided to get a full rebuild including brand new end clutches and a translab shift kit. So after I drive it home the first night it downshifts hard and starts clunking so bad I had to tow it home. The symptoms kept occuring overdrive didn't work anymore and there was considerable lag from acceleration from a standstill (lead me to believe it was in limp mode) - To test if the tranny was solid I bypassed the computer and used wires to manually shift it and it was solid (burning the tires)... So it went back to the shop 3 times and they claimed it was the tcu.

-- Before I tested the tcu I checked the solenoids and they were all good, I traced the wire and there was no kinks and all the connections are right.

-- So I took apart the tcu and saw a burn spot so I got it rebuilt too for $550, hoping that it was the tcu - I put it back in only to find it still in limp mode (still stuck in limp mode).

-- I guess I'll be taking it to another transmission shop, someone said it might be a sensor, could a fuse be making all this hell?

Any constructive criticism input is greatly needed and helpful thanks....
