Looking for n/a shiftkit for my 1g

I"ve been looking for awhile on here for shift kits made for the 1g non turbo..all i found was shift kits for 2g n/a or turbo's or the 1g turbos. I plan on doing a basic transmisson rebuild with my tax income so i want to beef up my tranny during the rebuild. Im looking for sites that sell shift kit, final drive and transmisson cooler just for the 1g non turbo. But all i found was for the mostly the 2g's or just the turbo models. =/ . Is there anyone that can help me out i would truly appreciate it! Thanks so much for your time!!

We have just about everything for the 1g non-turbo.

The shift kit is the same. There are also rebuild kits, converters, etc.

The coolers also are pretty universal.

But i have one more question i noticed this IPT Performance Transmission Rebuild kit (1989 - up: F4A21 / F4A22) Would i be better off buying this, meaning does it come with everything i need to get the tranny up and running with beef? Im pretty sure imma have to buy the tranny cooler on side. But i just want to make sure that this kit comes with everything i need. Thanks!

The kit covers the basics- clutches, steel reaction plates, bushings, a band, a gasket and seal kit and a filter.

You would need to get the shift kit separately.

whoa never mind..im gettin charged $900 just on labor..Im thinking im better off buying a rebuilt transmisson from ebay..much cheaper on labor.. But im not soo sure that my transmisson needs a rebuild..All it does is that it jerks when i place it into gear, and shifts hard between gears somethimes it would like rev a bit higher between 1-2nd gear, like it throws itself in nuetral for a split second. It never grinds or slips? I was told that it could be my shift linkage or motor mounts. Fluid is at right level too, just did a flush 2 months ago. Performance wise im just aiming for the 160-200hp mark..nothing more than that. Can ne1 help this confused kid out? IM trying to figure out my best solution for me.

I have seen first hand lots of horror stories with the companies that are selling 'rebuilt' transmissions on eBay. :thumbdown

If price is your only concern, go for it.
If you want a trans that will actually work and last, I would recommend that you go elsewhere.
