What Does It Take For My Auto To Run 14's

I WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT MODS I WOULD NEED TO RUN A 14's AT THE DRAG STRIP. I HAVE THE MODS LISTED BELOW I HAVE A 2G GST ON STOCK TURBO. Just would like to know what your mods are and some of your times with the stock turbo and please fwd only thanks



Current Mods-2.5 turbo downpipe, full 2.5 exhaust with magnaflow highflow cat, dynomax racing muffler, k&n fipk filter, k&n breather filter, accel spark plugs, yakohama matrix tires, autometer boost guage, bov dumptube hack, BCS restrictor removed. That is just the beginning

You should be in 14's now. I ran a 15.3 w/ just an intake filter and BOV

Practice practice practice..GEt a good launch and maybe get a MBC and turn that boost up a bit..You should be running 14s with the right driving and practice with ur currnet mods.

I ran a 14.9@94 with a full 2.5" turbo-back, Injen, and 1G BOV, no boost control, and I'm FWD. There's something else going on in your motor. Get a datalogger.

my best was 15.1 with an intake, 3'in dp, 3'in catback, bov, profect-b. it pissed the hell out of me.

With free mods and boost controller I am about a low 16, I can't see an exhaust pulling a full second off that time, can it?

You should be well below a 16. Crap you should be able to pull a high 14 still stock w/ a good launch. Like I said I ran a 15.3 the first night out ever at the track w/ basically no mods. Didnt even have a MBC. And a 15.3 kinda sucked, need to learn to launch better. You should be able to just drop the clutch and go

my last dsm ran a 14.8@96 completely stock...95 talon tsi...

not sure about this one yet....i haven't had it not broken long enough to take it to the track yet. '98 gsx.

Hey Wicked I might be mistaken but you didnt list an aftermarket BOV or MBC, The stock bov leaks so there goes some precious boost. Try getting those items and I bet you would have no problem.

i'm sitting at 14.0, with some tuning issues. Probably could of gotton 13's if i would have turned down the boost, but was tuning at the time.

Anyway, seems harder than I thought to get to that 12 second barrier with an auto. Or maybe it's just my car.
