Want to get rid of that eye soar of a loop throttle cable and cruise? here a pic without it.

Tools needed: hacksaw, pipe cutter, wire cutters, 10mm socket
Materials needed: Bike cable through bolt.

1.Take off and disassemble cruise control/throttle box off fire wall.
2.Remove throttle cable from box from firewall.
3.The cable coming out of the firewall (throttle cable). Measure the black coating about 12". Cut only the outer coating of the cable( I carefully used a hacksaw), DO NOT cut it all the way through.
4.Cut cable inside an additional 12" from your first cut.
5.Now take the other cable that originally goes to the TB, it has a bracket that bolts to the intake. Grab the cable and bracket pull them apart, wasnt hard at all.
6. Now take that mounting bracket, the part that "crimped" the cable, take a pipe cutter and cut just the crimped end off. Remove a very short small plastic sleeve from inside of it. (was about 1/8")
7.Slide the throttle cable through the bracket and re-crimp the throttle cable, I used the crimping side of wire cutters. I made it so when the bracket is mounted the crimp goes up and down, cant see it. When doing this dont crimp to hard, doing so may bind the cable.
8. Now install the bracket to the intake.
9.Look at the TB holder were the cable connected to, I had some old bike parts laying around. Off the bike brake theres a bolt that cable runs through you will need that.
10.Look at the TB were the cable would go, take a flat head screw driver an pry up on that small circular tab just enough to fit the bike bolt threads out. Run the cable though that bolt as seen in pic then use washer/nut tighten down.
Doesnt have to be super tight, now adjust your bracket accordingly for light slack in cable to TB and your done.

Cable feels light as a feather from gas pedal.
I tested to make sure throttle was in range after mod and it was.
