Are Panasonic head units good?

they look pretty good, but i'd say they're only a mid-level HU....i had one and it seemed to skip alot. there also wasn't enough controls to setup the sound processing. i switched to a pioneer and could here an obvious upgrade in sound quality.

i'd recommend Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer...even an eclipse or clarion deck. you'll get alot more control over your music along with more bang for the buck. goodluck.

Don't buy a Panasonic. They look nice, but they don't really perform. I have a Clarion low-level Pro Audio in my car for now and it still sounds better than my buddy's high-end Panasonic. Plus he's replaced it twice under warranty because of faulty internal wiring. If you are going to spend the money, but from a high end company like Alpine, Eclipse, or Clarion.
