Parking lights

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the power wire for my parking lights is located? And or what color it is? I have a 1997 GS.

why dont u just tap the fuse box ....

well two reasons, one i'm not much of an electrition so i have no idea how to tap the fuse box, and two, all i have to do is piggy back a wire on to the power wire, i figure that would be easyer than taping to fuse box, but i have no idea. If you think it would be easyer to tap could you please tell me how?

I got some new gauges that have the ability to kight up diffrent collors, but the require a seperat power source

Just run the wire under the hood to the fuse box, pull the parking light fuse, wrap the power wire around one of the fuse blades, replace the fuse. Then run your ground under the dash near the floor.

Easy.

The usual route is to tap off the cig lighter.
