issues with white guages etc.

OK, I've done this before on hondas with the plug connectors but this is a 95 talon tsi with that platic bus board ont he bakc of the cluster. So we took it out and had to dismantel all the fuages and needles to do the white faces and bezels in chrome etc. Problem is this. When we put it together the damn oil temp guage and fuel guages can go in either way so we tried on way fused (to be safe) and the fuse popped and the trace burnt (WTF) well, it only burnt a tad. But, enough to break the bus. so I took it apart and wired it up again reverse and it seems to be ok except the fuel guage is ####ed. It won't read anything.

My thoughts are that maybe a fuse blew, or I fried the guage or maybe taking it apart busted the wind inside. I'm not sure.

Any thoughts on this? maybe an ECU reset? I'm just troubleshootin now.

Any hlep would be great, I did a search and came up empty. sorry.

yea that happened to me, your oil gauges is fudged now, better offf getting another oil temp gauge in theres. I have 2 if you want one email me
