is there enough room in the space where the top goes down fit a box big enough for a 15" sub? or is 12the biggest i could fit there?

also does anyone have specs they could give me to build a box.??

There this one guy from europe that has a sweet setup.

I've seen him on here, but i dont recall if his name is the same as it is on machv (im pretty suire it is.. but cant recall). On Machv he is EuroGSTSpyder.

I have no idea how he made it, so you will have to talk to him about it.

Subs boxes are all different depending on the sub itself and how much air space it needs. When you get the sub, somewhere in the instructions it should say the dimensions.

Keep in mind when the top is actually down, there's little to no room in that area you're talking about. I managed a 15" sub and 2 amps in my trunk. Box is 2.4 cubic feet and ported towards the cabin. Amps flush mounted in top. That's probably about the biggest box you'd be able to fit back there without using fiberglass and taking advantage of every nook and cranny.

Thanx for putting my setup on display

I am doing it over again during witner and it will be a totally new way of doing it in the spyder.I will remove some of the thin metal plate behind the rear seat and use the space under there and nder the top to make the box as I want it. Reinforce the metal wall so it wills till be no flex in it.
The main issue is if you want to keep the backseat or not.If you do ..then its under the top and its little space there.Depedns on what subs and the area they need to sound right. If backseat goes..then you can do almsot anything with any subs really as long as you can fiberglass and make a nice design for it.

Its a nice setup but it didnt turned out like I hoped all the way so am doing anew one.Now I have a digital camera of my own so pics will come of the buildup.

ehh....do you se the size of the boxes together? Its heavy sinc eits all FG and its thick to stand hte pounding from the subs...Aint no 50bux gonna cover that.**

wishful thinking wouldnt be more then 125.... Ive sent body kits for under 50 bucks..... I would relaly like to have a esing of how u built everyhting because if i can get urs i would liek to design somehtign off urs....
