Raleigh,
Answer me this riddle... How in the hell are you supposed to take off the front bumper when you must take off the headlights first... but in order to take off the headlights you must take off the front bumper???? I have had suggestions that i must break the bottom screw of the headlight... is there any other way?? Please help quick!!!

AIM me for quick responses.. THANKS!

There are 3 bolts holding the each headlight in place. Two you can easily remove while the last one is a pain to get to. Take a cloth and a long extension and press down on the front of the bumper underneath the headlight. You should be able to press down enough to slide the extension between the headlight and the bumper. Then find the last bolt holding the headlight on and remove it. That's the way I did it. I believe there is a way to get the bumper off leaving the headlights on. I think Vfaq or the writeups on this site also have information on it.

Didnt I jsut move this thread about a half hour ago? And stated removing a bumper has NOTHING to do with engine performance.

Thread moved to Exterior forum:thumb:

P.S. Please dont post the same thread in more than one forum, I just deleted your other one in problem diagnosis.

unless they changed them for 97-99, we have 4 bolts. One on top, 2 on the back and the one bi*** one on the bottom.

Errr you're right my mistake...

its a pain in the ass. What I did and most people I know did was just cut the bracket on the bumper under the headlight. You'll never have to stress about getting to those bolts again. Its not the best way, but its way easier, saves time, and it wont hurt not having those brackets there.
